Regrettably, this wonderful image is tinged with sadness, because this is Michael Herring’s very last painting to be published as a Gibsons jigsaw. Michael Herring passed away in August 2010, and his unique style of painting will be missed by all those who have enjoyed his pictures and puzzles over many years.
